 Stop at A14 and A1 junction and then home!

 Found out that we’d had s nasty water leak which has caused further electrical issues. Off grid tonight! Not to worry, but trying to book the van back into the dealers for some remedial work.  Stopped off at Gloucester North Services. Very good Caravan and motor home facilities, and filled up with fuel as well. 

 In the morning went to Clarkes village for some bargains. Then shopping in Waitrose.  Fuel for the car as it goes back today, collected from the site.  Helen had a coffee at Café Nero ....

 Pottering around the van today. Heard from the CAMC that the Burford site was flooded, so they were cancelling our stay for the weekend. Instead we have booked up for a stopover at Chapel Lane in Birmingham ....

  Wells Cathedral

 D’s and A’s left today. Lovely sunny day, e missed the storms around us. Fish and chips for supper. Tidied up the boot of the van, and made up a new bbq gas lead.  We had a lovely sunset this evening. 

 Got Sunday lunch!

 Outing to Cheddar today! It rained as we were eating lunch. Note Helens hat! Yellow shop where we had lunch Cheddar Gorge recyclable headwear 

 Small walk in the afternoon. Helen went to the Clarkes shopping centre on the site of the old show works. 

 Took the hour car for the tire repair. Then to Waitrose at Wells!

 Helen took a walk to see the wells. There are two, a red and white water one ( chalk and iron).  In the evening the pizza van visited. Very good!

 Today we went to Wells. Nice town. Saw the cathedral (with scaffolding) and the moated Bishops Palace. Had a coffee in the market square   Car seems to have a puncture so will keep an eye on it. Fish and chips being delivered tonight!

 Went into town today. Got some vegetarian food in town. Lots of alternative shops in the High Street.  In the evening you can hear the sound of shamanic drumming! Picture of the Abbey. 

 Today took our hire  car to get some extras for the van and some food from M&S.  Helen went up Glastonbury Tor and also took pictures of Gog and Magog. Tonight we have put in an order for Chinese delivered to the site.  Weather not too good.  Dull and rain! They cook breakfast on site so had a small English!

 An hour drive up the M5 and on to near Glastonbury. A fully serviced pitch at The Old Oaks near Glastonbury. We have a hire car whilst we are here.  Sunny today but rain forecast for tomorrow on Sunday.   There is a special toilets cleaning gadget which Helen wants to try out! Some sunshine.  Storms are forecast tomorrow, so we had the deckchairs out today.  Automatically cleans your toilet!

 In the workshop today for the alarm fitting and tracker.  Top of the roof

 We are here to get an alarm fitted, staying at Cornish Farm site next door to Vanbitz, near Taunton in Somerset. We stopped at Sedgemoor Services on the way down, the caravan and motorhome parking is next door to the fuel - they'd run out of fuel so plenty of parking!
